A Landmark of Height, Innovation, and Illumination: 401 Las Olas

At 23 stories and nearly 400 feet tall, 401 Las Olas ranks as the fourth tallest building in Fort Lauderdale, a commanding presence on the city’s skyline. Crowned with a distinctive 42-foot illuminated pyramid—or ziggurat—the tower transforms into a striking landmark after dark, casting a radiant glow at the heart of downtown.

This Class A office tower has earned LEED® Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Major upgrades include high-efficiency lighting, water-saving fixtures, and an enhanced waste-to-energy and recycling program, all aimed at reducing the building’s ecological impact.

One of 401 Las Olas’s signature features is its cutting-edge RGB LED lighting system, capable of producing over 16 million color combinations. Programmable to reflect holidays, civic events, and charitable causes, the system transforms the façade into a dynamic canvas. More than just a skyline accent, it activates the pedestrian experience along Las Olas Boulevard, home to some of Fort Lauderdale’s premier dining and retail destinations.
